With Valentine's Day upon us, and the temporary increase in price of roses and other foilage of a giving nature, I thought I'd investigate who exactly are the givers and receivers. Check out the visual below.
It's interesting to note that guys generally buy for their better half, while women like to treat everyone they know, including 19% of women buying flowers for themselves!
How many guys out there have ever bought flowers for themselves? Anyone?

I'll send it to my Mum who's a florist. Valentine's Day and Mother's Day are always frantic for her.
Occasionally I've bought flowers for the house for both of us, because they can liven a place up. I don't remember if I ever did it before we married. Maybe I'd buy sunflowers or daffodils in spring or something like that for myself because they're quite happy, cheerful flowers, but probably not just a bouquet or something 'pretty'.
But I am son-of-florist...
