America finally voted for change this week. Woohoo!
Here is a closer look at the numbers.
According to the Associated Press and along with most other news sources, the popular vote was split as follows: Obama 52%, McCain 46%.
According to CNN (and I hate to accord things to them) the percentage of registered voters who actually voted was just over 60%.
Let's break this down to a population of 100.
40 people didn't vote
31 voted for Obama
28 voted for McCain
1 voted for someone else
In other words, 69 out of 100 registered voters did NOT vote for Obama!

i wonder, out of the 40% who didn't vote, how many were not able/allowed to vote because of the archaic voting system...
The 40% were REGISTERED voters who didn't bother showing up to the polling booth!
